Description |
Massage therapy is targeted to affect the soft
tissue of the body. It loosens tight muscles and
is meant to increase the local circulation of
the tissues. Massage can also breakdown
adhesions, which can help decrease limitations
of the muscles and/or joints. A feeling of
well-being and relaxation are also benefits that
can be obtained through massage therapy. A
qualified massage therapist can also recommend
stretches, hydrotherapy, and exercises that may
benefit the patient’s condition. |
